A 19-year-old Australian teenager was planning an attack on police with a kangaroo packed with explosives and painted with a Daesh symbol, local media reported on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Australian Broadcasting Corp, Sevdet Ramadan Besim, who will face the court on February 3, was arrested in April 2015 for plotting to behead a law enforcement officer in Melbourne on Anzac Day, including via engaging in communications with a person overseas when the possibility of kangaroo attack was mentioned.

"The conversation continues with BESIM detailing what he did that day and they have a general discussion around animals and wildlife in Australia including a suggestion that a kangaroo could be packed with C4 explosive, painted with the IS symbol and set loose on police officers," the court documents containing Telegram communications of the accused read cited by the media.

On April 25, known as Anzac Day, Australian and New Zealand soldiers who died during World War One are commemorated.

IS, which occupies vast tracts of Iraq and Syria and is outlawed in many countries including Russia, has gained much notoriety for conducting suicide bombings and other attacks worldwide and recruiting young people via social media.

I told you all about the power of kangas the other day. Do not tell me you did not hear it here first. Koalas are little slower but we have plenty of roos for all sorts of things. I have been training a few of them on improving their natural boxing skills.

ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corp soldiers who generally fought together during World War One. ANZAC Day is the commemoration of ALL wars in which Australian soldiers died. Please get your facts right.

That would be terrorist may have Australian citizenship because he was born in Australia, but he is not a real Australian.

Now if he could be talked into train kangaroo's to protect police and soldiers and help on arrests, I say, give him presidential WASH. They give it to political friends. Why not to a kid that may turn around and be productive in life. besides, how about kangaroo's with explosives to kill DAESH? Food for thought. But. Poor Kangaroo's. No it be a crime to do that.
  • In all honesty, this cannot be taken seriously. There MAYBE be some moral to the story but in true realistic facts is ludicrous. This to me I believe to be MOSTLY a concoction of imagination of the authorities, that is a very well known fact in this country when doing prosecution, in other words false witnessing!!! I had previously heard that they ORIGINALLY were going to use knives and other assorted hand weapons, which makes a person think even more about these latest claims are fabricated B/S lies by authority and media to scaremonger/exasperate their propaganda in the country about terrorism.
I am most inquisitive to know how they were going to deploy these TERRORIST KANGARS and how many??? The Australian government/authorities had warned of a new terrorist group had now infiltrated the country under the name of "AL SKIPPYS", terrorists on the jump!!! LOL

Skippy !!!, thanks! I just finished reading your comment about this story. I had to get my head around that one too! But, knowing how devious and cunning these terrorists have become - like strapping remote controlled bombs around five year old kids and telling them to walk into the crowd where they will get a sweet for a reward - it really doesn't surprise me how they would discuss using animals for their foul deeds.
