Russia Bans Tourism, Charter Flights to Turkey
ANKARA (Sputnik) In late November, Moscow introduced a number of economic measures against Ankara, including a ban on tours to Turkey, in response to the downing of a Russian Su-24 aircraft by a Turkish F-16 fighter in Syria on November 24.

"We have taken steps to not let tensions with Russia affect our tourism market. They include tax concessions and access easing to credits," Davutoglu said during a presentation of the Turkey’s Brand advertising campaign in Istanbul.

A number of Russian tourists visiting the country has decreased by 19 percent in the 10 months of 2015, compared with the same period of last year.

Turkey lost 4.4 percent in tourism revenues, amounting to some $12 billion, in the third quarter of this year.
