MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The international community should put public interests above narrow national interests and unite efforts in the fight against terrorism, Russian Defense Minister Gen. Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday.
"If speaking about terrorism, then the events of the past months and the past years denote that it has currently become the main threat for the world and stability. Terrorist attacks on our plane, on Russian citizens who were in the aircraft prove that we must unite and consolidate in the fight against this global evil," Shoigu said at a meeting with Chinese Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xu Qiliang.
