Iraqi intelligence has obtained information suggesting that terrorist groups are planning attacks in France, the US and Iran, according to Iraq's Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
The minister didn't provide any specifics regarding the identity of the potential attackers or when the attacks are likely to occur, but said that all of the aforementioned countries were notified of the threat, Reuters reports.
The warning comes in the wake of a massive terrorist attack in Paris, perpetrated by a group of gunmen and suicide bombers. The terrorists struck at several sites across the city, killing 129 and injuring dozens of people at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France sports arena.
