WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Washington is aware that US citizens are among those injured in a series of terror attacks that shook French capital Paris, US State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said on Saturday.
"The US government is working closely with French authorities to identify American victims. We are aware there are Americans among the injured, and are offering them the full range of consular assistance," Toner said adding the the US government is working "around the clock."
No further details were provided.
A string of terror attacks in seven different locations in Paris claimed the lives of 127 people, according to official estimates.
