Intelligence Stalemate: Truth About MH17 Crash Shrouded in Secrecy Forever?
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russian experts do not have full access to the documents related to the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine in July 2014, Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.

"Russian specialists in fact are denied the equal and full access to the materials that are available to the international group of technical investigators and the international investigation group," she told reporters at a briefing.

According to Zakharova, "the Ukrainian side has not provided the international community with records of the military air traffic controllers’ communication, in spite of our repeated requests and public statements on this matter."

On July 17, 2014, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine's eastern region of Donetsk en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All 298 people on board, mostly Dutch citizens, died.

According to a preliminary report by the Dutch Safety Board, the plane fell apart in midair after being hit by numerous high-energy objects. The final report on the crash is expected to be published by the board on October 13.

Eastern Ukraine's militia and Kiev forces have been trading the blame for the crash.
