Bolivia Disagrees With G7 Immigration Policy - President
MOSCOW (Sputnik) US claims on Russia's alleged backing of independence supporters in eastern Ukraine are part of a policy of military expansion, Bolivian President Evo Morales said.

"I believe that the current US policy toward Russia is military expansion, military intervention," Morales told RT en Espanol in an interview.

The Bolivian leader expressed support for Russia’s "fight for sovereignty."

The United States and the European Union have repeatedly accused Russia of meddling in the Ukrainian conflict and supporting the independence supporters in the country’s southeast. Moscow has repeatedly denied the accusations.

The United States said in March it would deploy up to 300 military instructors from Italy to Ukraine to train the Ukrainian National Guard.

NATO has been boosting its military presence in Eastern Europe amid the Ukrainian crisis, citing Russia's alleged participation in the armed conflict in Ukraine. Moscow has consistently expressed concern over the expansion, stating that it undermines security in the region and the world.
