Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner, who on October 14 jumped out of a capsule 39 kilometers (24 miles) above Earth and broke the speed of sound, said he had mixed feelings before the jump.
“The view was totally outstanding and unique but at the same time you realized that everything around you is very hostile,” Baumgartner said in an interview with the BBC.
Baumgartner joked that he would also like to break the speed of light.
