Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet on Tuesday with Swedish Prime Minister Frederik Reinfeldt to discuss economic ties and international issues.

A Kremlin source said trade between the two countries in 2009 was estimated at $5.24 billion and that joint projects are developing in the automobile industry, electronics, space, telecommunications, nanotechnology, metalwork, agriculture, forestry, transportation, construction, oilfield development, as well as in the bank and financial sectors.
