Putin, Merkel hope dialogue between Kiev, regions will continue - Kremlin

President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have held talks by telephone on the German side's initiative, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday. "The Russian and German leaders discussed the crisis in Ukraine, including in the context of the presidential elections set for May 25.
They also expressed the hope that the process of constitutional reform and the dialogue initiated between the Kiev leadership and the regions in compliance with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's roadmap, will be continued," the press service said.
