It’s interesting, but when Maxim began to practice figure skating, he didn’t show and desire or aspiration, but his mother and father insisted upon sport career. Till the age of eight, Trankov skated without any success and then interrupted his training for a year term. But his first coach, Valery Domrachev proposed his parents return Maxim in sport. Thus Maxim got to the coaches – Valentine and Valery Tjukov and in the group of pair skating, where he skated alone for two years and at the age of 11 his partner became Korchagina, with whom he completed his first adult grade.
