Arrested Boston bomber Tsarnaev in critical condition

The condition of apprehended suspect of the Boston Marathon bombings, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is estimated as critical.

The teen terrorist sustained two gunshot wounds, U.S. media quote hospital doctors. The perpetrator was discovered hiding in a boat in the backyard of a house in a suburb of Boston - Watertown.

As previously reported, with the help of a robot-sapper police units were able to determine the man inside the boat was really Tsarnaev. Fearing that he might be wearing an explosives-packed vest, riot police used stun grenades and tear gas to disorient the terrorist and take him alive.

However, the attempt failed, after which a negotiating expert was called to the scene.

Police said that Tsarnaev had been wounded in Friday’s shootout and spent almost 24 hours hiding in the boat.
