This week is D.C. Eat Local First Week, a food campaign, showcasing area restaurants and locally grown food. It’s also a movement to encourage consumers and restaurants to source food locally whenever possible. Through July 16th some local eateries will serve up fruits and vegetables grown within a 50 mile radius of the district.

Through July 16th some local eateries will serve up fruits and vegetables grown within a 50 mile radius of the district. Joining us here, in the studio, to talk about the events lined up for this week is Seth Teicher, a co-founder and Vice President of New Media at Roadside Food projects, and Stacey Price, the Director of Communications for Think Local First and Campaign Director for Eat Local First.
