German denying genocide of Muslims in Bosnia will try Mladic
A German lawyer Christoph Flugge, who claims there was no genocide of Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1992 through 1995, has been appointed to try Ratko Mladic.
The other judges in the forthcoming trial are Alphons Orie of Holland and Bakone Justice of South Africa. According to the FTV television channel, Flugge said two years ago that the term genocide should only apply to the Holocaust, while all other cases should be considered as mass murder.
Mladic is accused of perpetrating war crimes, including the killing of 8,000 Muslims in Bosnia’s Srebrenica in 1995.
