NATO after assassinating Gaddafi - Moscow
Moscow accuses the anti-Gaddafi coalition of overstepping its mandate in Libya and also suspects it of trying to assassinate the embattled Libyan leader.
A statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry about this Sunday comes a few hours after NATO jets raided a government compound in Tripoli killing one of Gaddafi’s sons and three of the leader’s grandchildren.
Russia urges all sides in the Libyan conflict to cease fire and enter talks. It also points out that the Libya resolution of the UN Security Council calls on them to protect, not kill Libyans.
