We’ve all seen cute friendships between kittens and puppies, chimps and tiger cubs, but having a usually aloof owlet making friends with a kitten isn’t something you’d see on a daily basis.

Customers could see the owlet and the kitten at a coffee shop in Osaka. Owlet Fuku-chan and Marimo, the two-month-old Scottish Fold kitten, quickly became friends after the coffee shop owner brought the kitten home.

The footage has gone viral on the Internet.
