A massive storm ripped through several Belarusian cities on April 16, including the capital Minsk.
Over 100,000 residents of Soligorsk, 120 kilometers from Minsk, witnessed how darkness fell on their city and swallowed the light. People reportedly had to move through the city streets using flashlights.
The storm brought heavy rains across the country which led to power cutoffs, toppled trees and damaged buildings.
