Mother Nindiri delivered the cub on March 12, and it made its public debut this week.
In a video posted on the San Diego Zoo Facebook page, the 18-day-old cub is shown exploring its new cave.
Guests can see the new cub during the zoo’s “Play Days,” in which keepers and staff answer visitors’ questions and share their experiences of taking care of the animals.
