Lion Opens Tourists Car Door, Family Panics
16:08 GMT 05.03.2015 (Updated: 12:51 GMT 10.11.2022) When your golden retriever noses her way into a bag of dog food, it’s adorable. When your cat somehow squeezes behind the pots in the kitchen cabinet, it’s nothing short of charming. But when you’re on a South African safari, driving through the middle of a pride, the last thing you want is a precocious lion.
There’s also an overlooked aspect of this video. Looking closely at the first frame, you can spot a row of houses on the not-too-distant horizon. These animals must have learned to work door handles somewhere. Surely some frightened commuters have unlocked their cars in the morning, only to find a lion passed out in the back of their Buick like a drunken Frat boy.
