New Emails Fuel Speculation Clinton Foundation Gave Donors State Dep't Access
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton created an organized criminal enterprise by combining Clinton Foundation and Department of State activities, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said in a statement.

A newly released batch of 725 US State Department emails are fuelling claims that the Clinton Foundation provided big donors special access to Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state, according to a Monday press release by legal watchdog Judicial Watch.

"It is impossible to figure out where the Clinton Foundation ends and the State Department begins,” Giuliani stated on Tuesday. “They [Hillary and Bill Clinton] merged the two into the Clinton Family racketeering enterprise.”

It is now clear, Giuliani claimed, that the Clintons established a business to profit from public office and sold access for money.

Giuliani is a supporter of Clinton's Republican rival Donald Trump and his statement appeared on the Trump campaign website.

The State Department said last week it was not aware of any actions taken by Clinton that were influenced by the Clinton Foundation.

Clinton stepped down from the Foundation's board in April 2015 when she decided to run for US president. Last week, the Clinton campaign noted the charity would stop accepting corporate and foreign donations if Hillary Clinton is elected president in November.
