Hackers Behind DNC Email Attack Want to Put Blame on Russia - Assange
On Friday, HBO's show "Real Time with Bill Maher" aired an interview with Assange. When the host of the show suggested that WikiLeaks hack into Trump's tax returns, Assange replied, "We are working on it."

"WikiLeaks isn't 'working on' hacking Trump's tax-returns. Claim is a joke from a comedy show. We are 'working on' encouraging whistleblowers," WikiLeaks tweeted.

The "joke" comes on the back of a scandal surrounding the publication by WikiLeaks of almost 20,000 emails of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in July. The DNC emails revealed that its top officials deliberately worked to obstruct Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders' campaign in order to boost Hillary Clinton's chances of becoming the party's nominee.
