US presidential candidate from the Republican party, billionaire Donald Trump, promised to get rid of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) if he becomes president.

CLEVELAND (Sputnik) – Opinion polls have shown that slightly over a half of the US population favors repealing the 2010 Obamacare, which has been accused of unaffordable costs and overly tight regulations.

"We will repeal and replace disastrous Obamacare. You will be able to choose your own doctor again," Trump said at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on Thursday.

US ‘Environment’ as Dangerous as Ever

Donald Trump also promised at the Republican National Convention that he would restore order in the United States and put an end to violence against law enforcement.

"I will restore law and order to our country, believe me," Trump stressed adding "I am the law and order candidate."

The billionaire said that currently the United States has a "more dangerous environment than frankly I have ever seen" and suggested that it is due to the "irresponsible rhetoric of our president [Barack Obama]" who has divided the American public on racial basis, according to Trump

"This administration has failed America’s inner cities" on education, jobs, crimes, "in every way," Trump said.
