CLEVELAND (Sputnik) – Trump stressed on Thursday that illegal border crossings will stop if he becomes president.
"We don’t want them [immigrants] in our country," Trump said adding "I only want to admit individuals to our country who will support our values and love our people."
Trump stressed that the US immigration system must work for the American people.
"We are going to build a great wall…to stop illegal immigration," Trump continued.
Building a fence on the southern border with Mexico was one of the most controversial promises made by Donald Trump.
