MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A total of 77 percent of US Hispanic voters said their opinion of Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump was negative, a poll revealed on Thursday.
According to the survey conducted by the US Univision broadcaster, only 19 percent of those interviewed said they would vote for Trump if the presidential election was held today. His Democratic rival Hillary Clinton would receive 67 percent of Hispanic votes.
Clinton also enjoys favorable opinion of 69 percent Hispanic voters, the poll showed. However, more then four people out of 10 consider the Democratic candidate to be a liar.
As many as 71 percent of Hispanics said they believed Trump was a racist, while 20 percent said he was not.
The pollster interviewed 1,000 Hispanic registered voters between July 1 and July 10.
