WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may have perjured herself before the Benghazi panel regarding the transmission of classified emails on her private server, House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte said on Tuesday.
"Secretary Clinton stated repeatedly that no classified information was contained within her private email system. This is not true," Goodlatte said during a Department fo Justice oversight hearing.
The chairman added that the classified emails have "now become an issue for Congress in that is appears Secretary Clinton testified falsely when appearing under oath before the Select Committee on Benghazi."
