22% of US Voters Agree With Obama’s Assessment on Clinton’s Qualifications

Only 22 percent of likely US voters agree with Barack Obama’s statement that ‘there has never been any man or woman more qualified for this [US president’s] office than Hillary Clinton’," according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

WASHINGTON(Sputnik) — The majority of likely US voters do not agree with President Barack Obama’s statement that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is the most qualified person to run for US president, a new Rasmussen Reports poll revealed on Monday.

"Just 22 percent of likely US voters agree with Obama’s statement that ‘there has never been any man or woman more qualified for this [US president’s] office than Hillary Clinton’," a press release accompanying the poll stated.

Sixty-five percent of respondents disagree with the president’s assessment while 13 percent were undecided, according to the poll.

The poll also noted likely voters rate Clinton and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump equally when it comes to their preparedness for the White House.

The survey has a margin of error of three percentage points, Rasmussen Reports noted.
