WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — An assailant shot a woman multiple times in a downtown building not far from the University of Colorado — Denver campus before killing himself, according to the Denver Police Department’s preliminary statements.
A male suspect was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot on the scene, the Denver Police Department said over its Twitter feed.
The investigation was still underway with the crime scene secured but not cleared, the Denver Police said in a statement.
Police have not indicated there are multiple casualties.
