Trump, Sanders Take Early Leads in New Hampshire Presidential Primary

Businessman Donald Trump and US Senator Bernie Sanders have jumped ahead in the New Hampshire presidential primary with big leads in key "bellwether" precincts that are representative of the state’s populace, according to a Decision Desk HQ poll.

MANCHESTER (Sputnik) — Trump leads the Republican field with 35.8 percent, the poll found, ahead of US Senator Ted Cruz who is in second place with 15.12 percent, followed by former Ohio Governor john Kasich with 14.9 percent and US Senator Marco Rubio with 10.7 percent, the poll reported on Tuesday evening.

Sanders has received 61.9 percent of the vote while former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton 36.5 percent, according to the poll.
