WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Americans agree for a second year in a row that the greatest problem facing the United States is the country’s government, according to new survey released by Gallup on Monday.
"For the second consecutive year, dissatisfaction with government edged out the economy as the problem more Americans identified as the nation's top problem in 2015," Gallup said.
Some 16 percent of respondents say the US government, Congress and politicians were the "most important problem facing the US in 2015," followed by 13 percent who identified the economy as the biggest problem, according to the survey.
Eight percent consider unemployment and immigration as the biggest problem facing the United States, followed by 6 percent who identify healthcare as the biggest problem.
Gallup noted that 2015 was the first year since 2007 that immigration was cited as one of top four problems for the United States.
