Bus With College Students Overturns in US State of Virginia, Injures 33

At least 33 students from three Virginia universities were injured after a bus carrying 49 passengers overturned late on Sunday near the US city of Chesterfield, local media reported, citing emergency services.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to NBC News, only one person was critically wounded.

​Other passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries "that would be consistent with a vehicle accident," Lt. Jason Elmore, a spokesman for Chesterfield County Fire and Emergency Medical Services, was quoted as saying by the broadcaster.

​At least five engine companies, eight ambulances and an emergency transport bus have been immediately sent to the accident site.
