“Clinton [is] leapfrogging Sanders by 4 points among likely Democratic primary voters,” a new WBUR poll said.
Clinton gained 38 percent of voter support against Sanders’ 34 percent. In September, Sanders was leading the race with 35 percent, while Clinton enjoyed only 31 percent, the poll revealed.
New Hampshire is the first state to hold primary elections for Republican and Democrat presidential candidates. Its outcome plays a major role in determining the selection of the presidential candidates from the two major political parties.
"The big change we’re seeing here is support shifting from Biden to Clinton,” The MassINC Polling Group President Steve Koczela said.
The former US secretary of state has 54 percent support nationwide, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Tuesday.
