MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Northeast Ohio Media Group, reported the deadly shooting occurred on Cleveland's west side in what police classified as a murder-suicide.
"It appears to be a boyfriend-girlfriend type of dispute," Ed Tomba, the deputy police chief, was quoted as saying by the outlet.
Among the dead were two men, aged 63 and 29, and a 24-year-old woman, while a 60-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition with a head wound, the media group said.
Tomba was cited as saying the dispute began when the 29-year-old male attempted to enter the home of his 24-year-old girlfriend's grandparents' home, where she resided.
The surviving 60-year-old woman attempted to prevent the man, armed with a handgun, from entering the house and was able to solicit help from the neighbors after being grazed in the head by a bullet.
