MOSCOW (Sputnik) The internal police investigation found sustained department misconduct and engaging in "conduct prejudicial to the good of the order of the police department," the CNN said Saturday.

The police officers used racist words and racially derogatory terms from the “Django Unchained” film focusing on the 19th century slavery in the United States.

One of the police officers created a video portraying Barack Obama, the Ku Klux Klan movements, and African-Americans. The video was discovered by the officer Alvarez’s fiancée, who alerted police officials of the offensive material.

The investigation detected no criminal behavior, but concluded that the officers’ actions were inexcusable and would not be tolerated in a police department.

US police racism a brutality has been a matter of concern recently, following numerous cases of killings of unarmed African-American citizens by white US police officers.

Late last year, mass protests erupted across the United States following the non-indictments of two white police officers in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City who murdered unarmed African-Americans.
