Ferguson Protests: Event Timeline
MOSCOW, November 25 (Sputnik) — At least 13 people have been injured in St. Louis County as a result of the riots over a court ruling not to indict a police officer, who fatally shot a teenager in August, St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper said Tuesday.

"As of 01:25 am [07:25 GMT] area hospitals reported a total of at least 13 injuries, including two with gunshot wounds," the newspaper reported.

Major protests erupted in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, late Monday over the grand jury’s ruling not to indict Darren Wilson, a white police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager, in August. Protesters set buildings ablaze and looted stores in the city.

Brown’s shooting triggered massive protests against police brutality in Ferguson and around the country, resulting in violent clashes between protesters and police officers in Ferguson in August, leading Governor Jay Nixon to declare a state of emergency, while the Federal Aviation Administration implemented a no-fly zone.
