MOSCOW, November 1 (RIA Novosti) - Another Washington state high school student, wounded during a school cafeteria shooting on October, 24, died Friday as a result of severe injuries, raising the incident’s death toll to four, AP reported on Saturday.
Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, aged 14, died at Providence Regional Medical Center as a result of critical wounds, medical workers said. She and four other students were critically shot inside Marysville-Pilchuck High School by their classmate 15-year-old Jaylen Fryberg, who was allegedly popular at school and had no evident motives for the killings. After shooting five classmates, Fryberg killed himself.
"Our hearts are broken at the passing of our beautiful daughter," said Shaylee’s parents in a statement, cited by AP. "Shay means everything to us. In Shay's short life she has been a radiant light bringing us incredible joy and happiness. She has been a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted friend and a wonderful part of our community. We can't imagine life without her."
