Russia’s Maslennikov Wins 10-Meter Air Rifle Bronze in Rio Olympics

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian saber fencer Yana Egorian won a gold medal at 2016 Rio Olympics having beaten her teammate Sofiya Velikaya, who got a silver medal.

The score of the final match was 15:14. Ukrainian saber fencer Olga Kharlan earlier won the bronze medal having beaten French athlete Manon Brunet.

Egorian’s gold medal is the second Russian victory at the Rio Olympics.
