Canada's national ice hockey team on Saturday won the semifinal match against the United States.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Canada's national ice hockey team on Saturday won the semifinal match against the United States with the score of 4-3 and will face Finland in the 2016 World Championship's final.

Earlier in the day, Finland defeated the championship’s host, Russia, 3-1 in another semifinal match.

The final game of 2016 Ice Hockey World Championship will be held on Sunday, in Russia's capital Moscow.
