Moscow Will Examine WADA Report Over Doping Violations
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the BBC broadcaster, Lamine Diack was provisionally suspended by the IOC amid a corruption investigation led by French police.

Diack was arrested last week in France as part of an investigation into performance enhancement drugs used by Olympic athletes, on accusations of accepting bribes from the All-Russia Athletics Federation to conceal doping by Russian athletes.

IAAF was implicated in a Tuesday report by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) commission, which accused Russia of numerous violations of global anti-doping codes and recommended the country be banned from international athletic competitions, including the 2016 Olympics.
