The same day, several high-ranking FIFA officials were arrested in Zurich, Switzerland, and are scheduled to be extradited to the US on federal corruption charges. The accusations include fraud, racketeering, money laundering, as well as corruption in shady marketing and broadcasting deals over the last 20 years.
