PRAGUE (Sputnik) — The US hockey team Sunday has shut out World Championship hosts, the Czech Republic, and have taken the tournament’s bronze medals.
Nick Bonino, Trevor Lewis and Charlie Coyle scored three goals for the United States.
On Saturday, the US team lost the semifinal match against Russia with the score of 0-4, while Canada in another semifinal beat the Czech team 2-0.
On Sunday, Russia will face Canada in the final game of 2015 Ice Hockey World Championship in the Czech Republic's capital Prague.
