Russia's Daria Gavrilova snatches first place in the International Tennis Federation tournament in the Australian city of Burnie, beating her US rival Irena Falconi 7-5, 7-5, Russia's RIA-Novosti news agency reports.
It took Gavrilova almost two hours to get the better of Falconi, in a win that became the 20-year-old's third in the IFT singles event since 2011.
Gavrilova won $50,000 dollars for the win at the the Burnie tournament.
