MOSCOW, October 9 (RIA Novosti) – Shannon Briggs, former heavyweight boxing champion, continues his pursuit of Wladimir Klitschko, the current heavyweight king, in an attempt to force the Ukrainian boxer fight him for the world heavyweight title, Boxing Insider reported.
A video posted on YouTube shows Briggs following Klitschko on his motorboat in the water of Florida, when Klitschko was on a paddle board. Briggs kept taunting the Ukrainian, shouting “everywhere you go, I will go” calling Klitschko to fight him.
“Do you think it’s funny?” Klitschko said a few times, trying to paddle away from Briggs.
Briggs kept taunting the Ukrainian, before making waves with the motorboat by circling Klitschko and capsizing the current champion, the Boxing Insider said.
“You crossed the [word expelled] line”, angrily said Klitschko, climbing back onto his paddle board.
Briggs has recently re-emerged into the boxing scene after being brutally beaten by Wladimir’s older brother Vitaly Klitschko. The older Klitschko dominated the American throughout 12 rounds, sending him to a hospital in the aftermath of their fight, where Briggs spent two weeks recovering, according to the Boxing Insider.
