MOSCOW, November 24 (R-Sport) - Nigerian forward Viktor Obinna's power free kick gave Lokomotiv Moscow a 3-2 victory over FC Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League on Saturday.

The former Inter Milan and West Ham striker hit the winner on 52 minutes to give Slaven Bilic's side all three points and break the stubborn resistance of the visitors.

Obinna's striker partner Dame N'Doye opened the scoring after just two minutes, latching onto a long ball and skipping around Andrei Sinitsyin before slotting into an empty net.

Yevgeny Shipitsyn leveled it just six minutes later, nodding in a sumptuous cross from the right by Brazilian forward Wanderson.

But N'Dyoe lashed high into the net after good work from strike partner Felipe Caicedo to restore Lokomtiv's lead on the 20 minute mark.

Wanderson again drew Krasnodar level 49 minutes, tucking away a Joaozinho cross from the left in a neat all-Brazilian move.

But Bilic's side went ahead again barely three minutes later when Sinitsyn failed to keep out Obinna's free kick from 25 yards.

N'Doye should have had a hat trick, going clean through on goal on two separate occasions, but shot meekly at Sinitsyn and then blasted it at his shoulder.

Lokomotiv had Brazilian goalkeeper Guilherme to thank for the win, diving to his left to keep out an Igor Smolnikov header in injury time at the end of the game.

It was a second-consecutive victory for Lokomotiv after seven games without a win, and takes the Railwaymen to joint seventh with FC Kuban on 28 points, 11 short of CSKA Moscow's lead.

Krasnodar's erratic form continues, leaving them in ninth on 22 points.

Earlier in the day, Terek Grozny went fourth in the table with a 1-0 win over Alania Vladikavkaz in the Caucasus derby.

On Friday, FC Rostov beat a woeful Mordovia Saransk side 2-0.

Sunday sees a Moscow derby as Spartak play Dynamo, before FC Kuban take on Krylya Sovetov.

Monday pits Amkar Perm against Anzhi Makhachkala and Rubin against FC Volga.

Leaders CSKA then travel to Zenit St. Petersburg, who are appealing a 3-0 default loss handed down by the Russian FA after a match was abandoned when a flare from the crowd injured an opposing player.
