Lokomotiv Moscow and FC Rostov played out a cagey goalless draw in their Premier League match on Sunday.

Lokomotiv could have won the game when Senegalese striker Dame N’Doye was sent one-on-one with the goalkeeper by Alexander Samedov in the dying minutes but somehow contrived to send the ball wide.

Both sides fielded Croatian international goalkeepers and both Rostov’s Stipe Pletikosa and Lokomotiv’s Dario Kresic kept clean sheets in Rostov.

“We dominated today, created more chances, but we weren’t able to score.” Bilic said in televised comments.

“Stipe is a big keeper, today he played very confidently as usual and he did a lot for Rostov to get this point.”

Lokomotiv remain fifth in the table, while Rostov moved up a place to 13th after failing to win a first home victory over the Railwaymen.

On 33 minutes, Lokomotiv captain Denis Glushakov saw his powerful 20-yard effort saved by Pletikosa.

Ten minutes later Rostov retaliated when ex-Liverpool forward Florent Sinama-Pongolle created a great chance for David Bentley, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, whose shot ended up in Kresic's hands.

At the start of the second half, Bentley had another good chance but missed the target after Lokomotiv defender Jan Durica lost ball in his own box.

Earlier Sunday, Alexander Kokorin’s brace gave Dynamo Moscow a 2-1 away victory over Mordovia Saransk.

Terek Grozny pulled off a 1-0 win against Amkar Perm, while second-placed CSKA Moscow beat 10-man Rubin Kazan 2-0.

On Saturday, a stoppage-time own goal from Spartak’s defender Juan Insaurralde handed Anzhi Makhachkala a 2-1 victory.

Zenit defeated Kuban 1-0 thanks to Kerzhakov converting a controversial penalty and FC Krasnodar completed a 2-0 win over Alania Vladikavkaz.

Monday will see the last game of the 12th round, with Krylya Sovetov facing FC Volga.
