Vitali Klitschko is vowing Saturday's WBC title defense against Manuel Charr will "live forever in the memory."

The Ukrainian-German matchup at Moscow's Olympic Sports Complex may be Klitschko's last before he retires to focus solely on politics.

"I'm in excellent form," said the 40 year old. "I'm confident this fight will live forever in the memory, and I, in turn, will try to prove that I don't hold this title for nothing."

Charr, 21, is unbeaten in 21 fights, winning 11 of them by knockout.

"As world champion, I can't allow myself to box with just anybody, that's why we chose a top-10 boxer," Klitschko said. "Manuel Charr is young and strong."

Klitschko has won 44 of his 46 professional fights, with both of his defeats coming from technical knockouts due to cuts or injury, and has never been knocked down in the professional ring.

The Moscow bout will be his first fight in Russia.
