Online fashion marketplace Lyst reported a swooping 500-percent increase in page views for Agent Provocateur underwear in and around New York days ahead of the storm, according to Mail Online. Some of those items cost as much as $955. Designs by Myla, La Perla and Kiki de Montparnasse sold on Lyst enjoyed a significant boost in traffic as well.

But New Yorkers were not only viewing but buying. Classic styles including black lace and champagne satin were all the rage over the weekend. After all, sex seems to be one of the best ways to unload stress for single New Yorkers these days.
Craiglist has been flooded with ads offering to spend the best snow day watching movies, eating pizza and cuddling. "So why waste this miraculous snow day?" one New Yorker asked. He was looking for storm-partner "to kill a bottle of wine and cuddle in front of a beautiful fireplace."
Who knew the snowstorm would be weaker than all those scary predictions? The travel ban in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut has already been lifted and life is returning to normal.
