All crew of Airlander 10, world’s largest aircraft, are safe, manufacturer Hybrid Air Vehicles said Wednesday after media reported that it had crashed during a test flight.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, the ITV channel reported that the aircraft had crashed during its second test flight in Bedfordshire, England.

The Airlander 10, the largest aircraft in the world, made its maiden flight on Thursday at Cardington airfield in eastern England last week. The 302ft-long hybrid of plane, dirigible and helicopter has a cruising speed of 92 mph and can stay airborne for five days.
