WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The rocket was launched at 8.29 p.m. local time (01:29 GMT Tuesday) from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, according to live broadcast of the launch by SpaceX.

All 11 satellites have been deployed "in nominal orbits," the company added.
The launch of 11 satellites is part of satellite operator Orbcomm's second and final mission at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

In June, SpaceX’s CRS-7 Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Dragon cargo ship with supplies for the International Space Station exploded just three minutes after it lifted off from Cape Canaveral due to an overpressure in the liquid oxygen tank.
