MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Political tensions have not affected Russia's performance in the Expo Milano 2015, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said Friday.
"We encountered a very warm attitude [while preparing the Russian pavilion at the exhibition], and we realized that politics has nothing to do with real human relationship and business," Shuvalov said while presenting "Made in Russia" project at the exposition.
Shuvalov highly appreciated the level of Russia’s preparation for the event, adding that it was "one of the best" at the expo.
Between May 1 and October 31 period, the Universal Exhibition Expo 2015 is held in Milan. As many as 145 countries take part in the international event, demonstrating their technologies, innovations and traditions.
The participants also showcase projects on managing agricultural production in their regions, as the motto of this year’s exposition is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life."
