A video of the flash mob made from a quadcopter was posted on the YouTube channel of the local public movement “The Right Initiative.”
In the video, several trucks are seen moving in a cycle, just like the tracks of a moving tank, while the rest stand still. Watched from above the whole thing resembles a tank on the move.
The event was held under the motto “We Remember Your Heroism, Tankograd!”
Tankograd (Tank City) is the unofficial name Chelyabinsk earned for its heavy contribution to Soviet tank production during WW2.
